What is Meal Prep?
So you’re trying to keep up with back to school, work, activities, and somehow have to fit in feeding your family… there’s got to be an easier way!
What is Meal Prep?
Meal preparation or Meal Prep for short is the act of planning, preparing, and packaging your meals/snacks in advance, typically for the upcoming week. Its for the intent of clean eating and portion control. It's like having those TV diners that you buy from the store except that I or you can prepare them with better, healthier and unprocessed ingredients. But the the biggest reasons are: it saves sanity, time, money and generally you will be eating healthier.
Why Meal Prep?
Meal prepping is very important especially when you have a busy life, a meal prepper, trainer, athlete or a mommy. The goal is to avoid the messy stressful situation in the kitchen, suddenly you run out of the items to use in the recipe or food. Cooking needs to be a happy experience, it doesn't require to be in the kitchen whole day (well for me yes, when I am preparing over 120+ meals per day). In the end it's worth it, because you are producing good healthy food. A little effort in meal prepping goes a long away and cooking also works as a therapy, put your favorite jam and enjoy the time in the kitchen! Meal planning takes the stress away, like what shall I cook tonight? The goal is to serve healthy fresh food on the dining table instead of going out to eat junk food.

2. Shedule it - Schedule a day that works for you and write it on your calendar. It doesn't have to be Sunday or what they call Meal Prep Sundays. Block off time. Make it as difficult as possible to make excuses.
3. Use Dependable Recipes - It might not be the right rime to try a crazy new recipe. Using recipes you know are easy and tasty is great base to start off of.
